We continue our journey on the street of Vestervall and walk to the building no 15. You can see here the Polyclinic of the Hospital of Narva that was built from the red bricks in 1996. But what lies beneath it? Well, it used to be the location for the bastion called 'Fama' ('meaning 'famous'). It was built by the Sweden army engineer and nobleman Erik Dahlberg in 1690. What do you think, how many bastions he managed to build before the Great Northern War when Narva went from Swedish king to Russian tzar?
